American Editorial Cartoonists in Saint-Just-le-Martel (France)

Daryl Cagle is attending the big European editorial cartooning festival in St. Just le Martel, France, with cartoonists Nate Beeler, Steve Sack, Adam Zyglis, Monte Wolverton and Rick McKee.

From Daryl Cagle's Facebook page.

They have a tradition of dressing a cow sculpture, named "Justine," at the entry to their cartoon museum, to match the poster for the show. I did the poster this year, with Justine dressed as Marie Antoinette. Salon organizer Corinne Villegier posted this photo of Justine, all dolled up in her regal duds, compare her to my drawing. They forgot the yellow tassels, but she looks pretty good. She's a cutie.
